Nicki - Citroen C3 Automatic

I became a driving instructor after deciding a career change was in order. At 22 years of age it was an unusual career. I'd previously taught young children and although my current pupils are older they are still learning new life skills. These new skills often lead to new opportunities both on a personal and professional level.

For many driving is a necessity even if it's not their first choice of transport with our new attitudes towards the environment.

I have always enjoyed driving and the lessons I had were both informative and fun. I wanted to share my experiences with others and see how driving could change their lives in a safe and positive way for the future.

Having taught in higher and further education during the past 16 years I decided that I wanted to teach a practical skill which would be of use for life, a skill that would be used and not forgotten after gaining exam results.

Becoming a driving instructor is a life changing experience which has great responsibility attached!

I feel very privileged and honored to be able to play a part in that life changing process.

I chose to become a driving instructor for the L's Angels because the school has built up a good reputation across Thanet and the surrounding areas since it was formed.

The team are a great bunch of people to work with and this is reflected in the pass rates the school achieves.

Louise - Daewoo Matiz Manual

I became a driving instructor to continue with the type of work I've always enjoyed.

Working with people and having the opportunity to teach them a new skill or refresh on a previously learnt skill is quite special and there for life.

I decided to join the L's Angels as I wanted to be part of a team. They have a catchy school name and only employ fully qualified ADI's.

There's a choice of either manual or automatic instruction available and the school has good local feedback.

Having worked in a factory for 30 years I felt it was time for a change.

Looking for a new career at 50 could have been slightly risky. My daughter suggested that with 35 years of driving experience I might like to join her as a fully qualified driving instructor.

I decided to take her advice and with the help of the L's Angels driving school I successfully achieved my ADI licence.

3 years on I am really enjoying the new day to day challenges.
